SHOWCASING THE HEART OF A COMMUNITY-DRIVEN
CO-OP

When Lindsey Countryman joined the team at her local co-op as a marketing specialist, she quickly embraced the company’s eco-friendly mission of supporting local farmers. Lindsey, with her sweet and approachable personality, was on a mission to make sure that the co-op’s values of community and accessibility were reflected in every aspect of their marketing.

One of her most personal projects was a sign designed to demystify the co-op’s board of directors. Lindsey wanted to showcase that anyone could become a co-op board member. The people guiding the company weren’t unreachable executives—they were regular folks, deeply involved in their community and passionate about the co-op’s mission. Lindsey had an initial idea for a wooden sign but knew she needed help bringing it to life in a meaningful way. That’s when she turned to Brand Ink.

A TRUSTED PARTNER FOR AN INSPIRED PROJECT

Brand Ink had been working with the co-op for years, long before Lindsey joined the team. They were the go-to for any and all of the co-op’s graphic needs, from branding to signage. The trust between the two companies was solid, so when Lindsey came to them with her vision, she knew she was in good hands.

Lindsey’s idea started with a simple concept—she wanted a wood sign to reflect the warmth and natural feel of the co-op. But from there, Brand Ink took the idea and ran. The team sourced the perfect wood, wrapped the base, and even created custom wooden frames to elevate the design. These frames helped display the inserts for each board member, giving the sign a polished, high-end look that matched the co-op’s brand perfectly.

EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION & STRESS-FREE EXECUTION

Communication throughout the process was key. Lindsey and her team trusted Brand Ink’s expertise, knowing that they would deliver something even better than what they had envisioned. Brand Ink presented several options, and when the wood sign concept was chosen, the rest was left in their capable hands.

The final result? Lindsey and her team were ecstatic. The signs were installed in both co-op locations, and they became an instant hit. The design not only communicated that the board members were everyday people, but it also gave off a sense of friendliness and accessibility that aligned with the co-op’s values. In fact, one of Lindsey’s colleagues even made a special trip to Brand Ink to express just how much they loved the work.

A PERSONAL TOUCH THAT EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

As the wooden frames were mounted onto the base, the team saw Lindsey’s vision come to life. The natural wood textures and the carefully chosen color scheme popped beautifully against the wooden wall where the sign was eventually mounted, creating a cohesive, welcoming display.

The project not only met Lindsey’s goals—it exceeded them, creating a powerful and personal statement about the co-op’s community-centered values. And for Brand Ink, it was another opportunity to help a long-time customer bring their mission to life in a visually stunning way.
