Ryan’s latest project with Brand Ink was a fast-paced, high-stakes opportunity. SHAED had recently entered the Formula 4 racing world by sponsoring a driver, and they needed a show-stopping vehicle wrap to debut their brand in front of a high-energy audience.
Their signature vibrant green was at the heart of the project—a color Ryan knew Brand Ink could replicate perfectly, translating SHAED’s RGB shade to print with accuracy and boldness. With only a week to complete the design, approval, printing, and installation, our team took on the challenge, working closely with Ryan and his team to make sure every detail was dialed in for the reveal.
The design process came together smoothly, thanks to SHAED’s initial ideas, which allowed our designers to build on their vision and bring it to life. A steady flow of communication and proofs kept Ryan and the SHAED team informed and excited as the design took shape. When the car was finally wrapped and ready, the SHAED team saw their brand’s green color as close to digital accuracy as it could get—a critical detail that heightened their confidence and excitement for the unveiling.
The car was first revealed at a press conference held at Brand Ink. Hidden under a sheet until the big moment, the Formula 4 car emerged with SHAED’s logo front and center in vibrant green, making an unforgettable impression on the team and audience. Alongside the car was a 3D-printed mini-F4 replica in the same SHAED wrap—a fun addition they had asked for to showcase the design in miniature.
As a finishing touch, this project included three custom-wrapped golf carts. Two were wrapped to match the F4 car, but the third cart had a special twist. Inspired by pro golfer John Daly’s college days, we created a custom University of Arkansas design as a nod to Daly’s alma mater. While John couldn’t attend the press conference, the wrap was a hit with the team and a memorable way to add some personality to the project.
With SHAED’s branding making waves in the Formula 4 arena, this project amplified their visibility, drawing attention to the brand and its commitment to sustainable, forward-thinking mobility.
