Since 2011, Brand Ink has proudly supported Face It Foundation in their mission to break down stigmas surrounding men’s mental health. Founded in 2009 by Bill Dehkes, Face It Foundation provides free support to men through peer mentoring, education, and community initiatives aimed at reducing male suicide rates. For their annual golf tournament, a key fundraising event, Brand Ink partnered with Bill to create vibrant sponsor signs that represented both the foundation’s mission and the community’s support.
Face It Foundation’s annual golf tournament is more than just a fundraising event—it’s a way to raise awareness and bring the community together around a critical cause. The sponsor signs for the event needed to go beyond functionality, becoming a visual representation of the foundation’s mission to support men in overcoming depression.
Bill trusted Brand Ink to deliver exceptional results, thanks to a longstanding partnership that began with a bus wrap for a cross-country bike tour. Over the years, we’ve worked together on a variety of projects, from event signage to office decor, ensuring that every graphic captures the foundation’s brand identity and message.
For this project, Bill came to us with a clear concept for the signs. Our design team worked closely with him to bring the vision to life, providing mockups to ensure the designs met his expectations. We paid special attention to maintaining the foundation’s exact color scheme and adjusting sponsor logos for clarity, ensuring brand consistency and visual impact across all signs.
One of the key challenges in this project was preserving the clarity and vibrancy of the sponsor logos, particularly in an outdoor setting. Our team made adjustments to maintain print quality and visual impact, ensuring each logo stood out while staying true to the foundation’s cohesive aesthetic.
Additionally, we prioritized precise color matching to align with Face It Foundation’s branding. Through years of working with Bill, we’ve mastered the nuances of his brand’s style, which allowed us to deliver results that exceeded expectations.
When Bill picked up the finished signs, his gratitude underscored the depth of our partnership. These vibrant, professionally executed signs made a strong impression at the tournament, showcasing sponsor names while highlighting Face It Foundation’s commitment to building a supportive, stigma-free community.
